LAMA BEOWULF CLUSTER

The Beowulf is comprised of 24 CPUs Pentium II 400 MHz, 2 GB RAM and 110 GB disk space:

1 Double CPU controller:

• 2 x Intel Pentium II 400 MHz CPUs
• ASUS P2B-DS AGP ATX Motherboard (440BX chipset)
• 256 MB SDRAM DIMM, 100 MHz
• ATI XPert 98 Video card, 8 MB, AGP
• SMC EtherPower II TX 100 MB/s network card
• 3Com 3C509B Etherlink III 10 MB/s network card
• Two Segate Medalist 9.1 GB SCSI Disks (ST39140W)
• 32x CD ROM
• 1.44 MB FDD
• ATX mid tower case with 250W Switched power supply

11 Double CPU (SMP) Nodes:

• 2 x Intel Pentium II 400 MHz CPUs per node
• ASUS P2B-D AGP ATX Motherboard (one node with P2B-DS), 440BX chipset
• 256 MB (3 noodes) or 128 MB (8 nodes) SDRAM DIMM, 100 MHz
• S3 Trio64V2/DX
• SMC EtherPower II TX 100 MB/s network card
• Fujitsu 8.4 GB UDMA hard disk
• 32x CD ROM (three of the nodes)
• 1.44 MB FDD
• ATX mid tower case with 250W Switched power supply
