Electronical mechanism and structure of flexible composition's materials
The so called flexible materials exhibit discontinuous changes in their structure (and thus the ordering of motifs) with a continuous variation of the composition. There are several phenomenologycal rules, based on superspace, that predicts the structures for a given range of composition. My work consists in extending such ideas to two dimensional orderings and make the connection between microscopical mechanism and such macroscopic criteria.

Computer simulation utilities are the bread and the butter for my PhD. My fauvorite languages:
Python is the best object oriented language. Is free and you have helpful modules like Scipy (Scientific Python), Numpy (Numeric python) or biggles (Python for scientific plottings).
Fortran is the classic language of programming scientific problems.
